All aboard (if you can pay)
The train actually goes somewhere now. And Mehville got a train station on top and a bank that looks way too fancy for this town.
- The Home Land train is just the front car now, and it floats: it hovers over the track, bobs a little and glows green underneath.
- It runs through a real tunnel to the Mehville Metro, then loops round and comes back in the other end of Home Land. No more driving backwards.
- Ride up front: once the train leaves, you see the track from the front of the train.
- Ticket machines at both stops. The sign above them counts down to the next train. The train only runs when someone actually needs it, because trains cost money. Apparently.
- Tickets: Basic is $10. Fast is $30 and gets you there three times as fast. Broke? “Eh, looks like you need some help.” You get a free ticket, but the train goes twice as slow. Enjoy the view.
- Someone else already using the train? It tells you your place in the queue and about how long you’ll wait.
- Mehville Station: a brick building on the metro plaza, with parking out front, a ticket counter with a big TICKETS sign, and the stairs down to the trains inside.
- Mehville Bank on Gate Road: marble columns, chandeliers, tellers and its own parking lot. You can walk right in. You can’t bank yet. Your money is safe here. Probably.
